This hauntingly beautiful piece was written by Peter Maxwell Davies. This arrangement for two guitars is by Mark Francis. Performed by Evelyn Arvey and Mark Francis on September 16, 2009 in Seattle, WA. Many thanks to Kevin Callahan. Please visit our website www.arveyfrancis.com

  • Great performance, could you please pass the tab? Thanks

  • @vladisflo

Thank you very much, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm sorry, there is no tab for this piece. My duo partner arranged it for two guitars directly from the original piano score.

  • Absolutely beautiful playing! I only found out about this piece yesterday and I am already in love with it.

Not to be annoying but would you happen to have the sheet music to this in a format which could be sent online? I'm very eager to learn to play this. No worries if not.

Keep up the masterful playing! :)

  • Thank you very much, Warrior! It means so much to hear that other people like this piece as much as we do! Mark and I first heard the LA Guitar Quartet play it about a year ago, and we fell in love with it just like you have. As for the score, Mark arranged the duet directly from the piano original. Thank you for listening!

  • Love it! Great job! When are you going to the studio to record?

  • Thank you very much! We are working very hard on new pieces; someday we hope to have enough repertoire to do a recording.

  • I first heard this piece played by a guitar quartet from Albuquerque. This version is just as excellent and haunting. Thank you for sharing.

  • very beautiful!

  • Bravo! This piece is a true classic, in my view, and your rendition does it true justice.

  • Interesting...Well I am determined to find a good copy of this so I can play it and hopefully get someone else in on it to. So far what I've seen for sheet has been for solo guitar.

    Once again great playing!
