Yes. I'm guessing you've never seen the film, so I'll explain why she has a grey streak.
When her mom takes her to the dream clinic, Nancy falls asleep and has a nightmare. Her mother and doctor watch as she rests and begins freaking out during her dream. When they rush to wake her up, Nancy's hair turns grey, which can happen to people when put under a big enough amount of stress.
