If I were in the crowd, I'd have been offended when he said "you're all joe the plumbers". See this is what I don't get about the campaign. Obama was labeled as an elitist, while Joe the Plumber was continually praised. Why should mediocrity be celebrated? Why should Joe be an example to us all? I'd rather be well educated and eloquent like Obama. Well I guess that's what we call The Dumbing Down of America.
