Operation: FRANKENBASS... It's Alive.

this took me a really long time to actually put together. I was recording and taking pics all along the way. WHY ARE YOU SHOWING US THIS CRAP!? WE WANT JOKES, WE WANT RANTS, WE WANT THINGS TO PASS THE TIME AIMLESSLY!!! Sorry, this vid was brought to you because I wanted to show you you dont have to be a pro to get things done. You CAN do it. Whatever it is that moves you, if you feel it enough, you can make it happen. Dont let people tell you "you dont know what youre doing", or that "you'll mess up, you'll fail", DON'T YOU DARE LISTEN TO THESE PEOPLE. THESE PEOPLE ARE MISERABLE PEICES OF SHIT THAT WOULD RATHER DISCOURAGE YOU THAN SUPPORT YOU IN SOMETHING THAT THEY NEVER BELIEVED IN THEMSELVES ENOUGH TO DO! "Those who abandon their dreams will discourage yours" dont ever forget that. Now if you dream is to rape babies and then eat them, YOU are the real piece of shit and this vid is not for you. Lets not be mistaken guys, dont be a dick, and dont put words in my mouth. The point is, I've never done this before. Never worked on guitars, never worked with wood stains (not like THIS anyway) and between me and my mom, I've never been much of a painter... 'cept for water colors, which... oddly, this was a lot like using water colors.... so anyway... You see it in your mind, you can make it happen... you dream it, you be it. thats all Im saying. Even if I never get good pick ups, or never touch this thing after Ive had my fair share of basses to go through... this will always be my baby, and she'll retire to my wall someday.... but in the meantime, pluck away, pluck away. so thats "why I bother"... I guess. happy? hope so. Im trying to be everyday.... Thank you Tool, Thank you Les, and thank you to Steve M. If it werent for you, the first 2 would have never been thanked. and you know this... man.

Im actually working on another one for a friend of mine, AN I have a couple other projects happening right now, an acoustic bas Ive been working on for a while, and I have a bass drum, and a couple of toms Im redoing as we speak. all bass sounds, looking to get a hi-hat soon, all foot pedal action, perhaps a whamola ditty with drums, kind of a That1Guy idea. Ill be making a proj. Vid for the bass and drums Im working on. Shine on

hey there pigglet, miss you. wish you were here. short of me seeming full of myself, i'm sure by now someones pointed it out. spoke to a kid, one time, claimed he goes fishin' with Les and a friend, but, you know *shrug* The point isn't even to "make contact". it's, to me, a way to reassure these artists of their effect on people before they end up like Rodger Waters. First, coming from a family of professional musicians myself as well as having done a lot of painting & woodwork (not that I've ever been any good at it =P ), I gotta say that I dig the look of both your basses and am very impressed w/ the job you did customizing the... uhh.. not green one. Hopefully you give your instruments a name. It's like with plants, do it or they die!

2nd, since you're also a fan of Les, search for a vid called Les Jams w/ Ross & Fletch. You might like it!
