Totally agree with you, to listening does not help to speak fluently english, i tried this method, and it was hopeless.

Listening isn't the real thing at all, what I was saying in this video was - the ESL industry wants you to believe that listening will make you into a fluent speaker, but it's totally wrong. Only by actively speaking you can expect any considerable gains to your fluency, and that's why I'm messing with the toys in the video. They represent the childish treatment i.e. - you're like a child who's not capable of speaking!
