Vardig - German Shepherd available for adoption

Vardig's Story: Vardig is a gentle, dignified senior German Shepherd who is easy to please, is alert and attentive to all the things around him, loves to go for walks and survey the country side,is easy on the leash, loves to play a toss and fetch ball game (although we are still working on the release) and is generally very pleasant to be around. He has an endearing way of picking up his bowl and carrying it around when he is hungry.

Vardig is looking for a low-key, moderate energy home, either with or without another dog, with people who will treasure all of the good qualities of a mature, stable dog.

What a gentleman Vardig is. A grand old boy who obviously knows he's got it going on large. Just look at the spring in his step, that enromous smile and ears pinned back with all the happy attention. Great commentary, too, fine boy. Sigh.
