So now I got to get a job doing this when I retire from being an attorney. it is not as exciting as the last time I got paid to pilot when I was flying A4s getting shot at and landing on a flat top.

@selmo999 no but we are very close to it we did fly banners over there but we are on the alabama side in foley about 10 min by air from pcola

I never realized that they make a dive at a line to hook it. I kind of figured they pulled a lever and it unrolled behind them at altitude or something like that.

damn that's scary...high angle of attack close to the ground...and when final approach, he's in close proximity to trees...is this why pilot is the 2nd/3rd most dangerous job in the US consistently? lol
