:/ thats happening to my laptop too :/ how unfortunate D:

if you use a external monitor and its work fine then there is no problem with video card . then most probably the problem is not with inverter nor bulb but with the filter capacitorof your LCD

I have the exact same problem. And it got a lot worse. It was the display. As soon as I have changed the display, the problem went away. At first I thought it was the LCD cable or the inverter. I have changed both on my own money, but turns out it wasn't that. As I said before it was a problem with the display. But I still wonder, is the display fixable?

it is a problem with your lcd's cable flexible... replace it with the new one, and your problem will be solved...

My HP laptop is doing this exact thing right now... it does it like 20% of the time now and it's getting more and more frequent. I seriously hope I can fix this cause I just bought this laptop a year ago and I can't afford to replace it.
Maybe you have a cracked laptop screen. It is cracked in the inside.

@Heathermcshow Thanks for your suggestion. It was probably a cable or connection issue. Also, I apologize for the bad language. Um.. Everything your parents tell you is because they love you. :) No idea how this video got so many hits.. I guess it's a common issue which I do not have much insight for. Some of the comments below do, however!

Did you ever find out what the cause of this was? My laptop screen does something similar... Not that bad, but while I'm using it, sometimes the screen does that...

No I never found out what the cause was. I ended up removing the screen from my laptop and connecting it to a monitor, as the rest of the laptop was ok. My guess is your screen will progressively get worse. Sorry. :/
