Advocate ... Lakoff clearly talks about shortcoming of assuming rational action ... free market theory make many assumptions which aren't always true, and this is why in reality pure free market / unregulated free market often leads to great disparities in wealth ... which undermines your assertion of bringing prosperity to all.

What do you mean "just made it up"? It's a theory he developed over a number of years. That's what philosphers and scientists do.
