@anthonyb415 yes they are! I would feel pretty yuckie about handling that big snake. I have handled a lot of animals including snakes as a Veterinarians Assistant , however I never get used to the snakes. Such a nice Zoo, enjoyed my visit. =)

@Dexter103 They didnt they put him in his natural looking enclosure. Which is I think they were getting at.

What a beautiful animal. Why did the SF zoo put him back in the wild?

It looks like the mathematical formula for lifting a giant anaconda is something like one human per every six inches of snake!
(I would love to know what the anaconda thought about the whole experience!)
