I think it is Magne who wants out the most, probably to work on his new band. I feel bad for Paul.

for me it seems Paul would go on with a-ha - no problems.. someone has decided for all. don't know. Magne?

I would like so much to hear the whole interview !!!
It's so strange....it's like if they stopped reluctantly......it's just my impression.....:(
But if paul has again a lot of songs, maybe they will change their opinion....
Maybe we could have again a hope...

No - it is Mags who are the one who wants to start his own band - in fact Paul says that for him he could go on with a-ha (he has also started working with some songs for a new a-ha album) Morten is not always easy to understand but from what i understand he would also go furher with a-ha if they all wanted to do that.

They really seem to me so sad, I think Pal and Mags aren`t happy to give up the band. Maybe it was Mortens decision....

It seems like they don't want to say goodbye..? neither Morten or pål has any plans and mags says "nothing lasts forever" like it just had to come, as if it wasn't their decision...
maybe it's just me hearing what I want to hear, but it seems strange...

This "retirement" idea vexes me!! The synergy between these 3 men is overwhelming. I just cannot get used to thinking there will be no more spine- chilling, heart- thrilling, tear- spilling albums. There's just never been a more awesome combination than Mags, Morten and Paul!!!! My trip to the UK to see them live next week was supposed to be FUN! Now it seems like I'm going to a funeral.......Yeah, it makes me cry.... silly, right?

Thank you SO much for sharing this! I am finally glad to see that Pal has something to say and that the interviewer actually listened! Morten does look sad and has his sunglasses on. Also, I find it interesting that Pal and Morten mirror each other the whole time. They sit back with one leg over the other and one arm over the side....then sit forward with their hands on their knees....while Mags is wtih crossed arms....I wonder if the break up was Mags idea? I am sad about it no matter. :0(
