Skibladner is a sidewheel design, and her maiden voyage was on August 2, 1856, making her the world's oldest steamship still in operation. Originally intended to provide passage from the train station in Eidsvoll to the towns of Hamar, Gjøvik, and Lillehammer along Mjøsa, it still operates the same route, but now offers leisurely, scenic tours and culinary pleasures during the summer months.

  • Har dere prøvd å stupe fra det ? :)

    Drit gøy

  • I almost get homesick when I see this beautiful old ship. My grandfather was chief engineer (maskinsjef) on the ship from the late 1980s into the 2000s. They have trouble finding good qualified personell to run her since todays engineers don't have a "steam certificate" like those from my grandpa's generation (he was born in 1926). Even after he retired they kept dragging his butt up to the lake summer after summer for his help and guidance.

  • It,s a great Ship!

  • Meget flott dampskippet :)

  • I love this ship.
