@PovichG Einswine house-broke himself. We used a litterbox the first few weeks after we adopted him. He was too small to run the yard. He used the litterbox without us having to tell him. Once we built a pen outside he never used the litterbox again. Pigs are extremely clean. His "toilet" area in the yard is as far from where he eats as he can get.

@PovichG The misconception that pigs are dirty comes from them rolling in mud and that is due to the fact that they do not have a natural way to cool themselves (sweating, panting). Also, farms usually keep the pigs in such small areas that they end up walking and lying in their own feces. But that is not by choice :)

@jgmtiger yup, the POS breeder we bought him from neglected to tell us that he had mange... we got medicine for him and got it under control... but it was bad... pigs need to be treated twice a year to prevent it, if they live in outdoor only conditions with other pigs
