@MikeyBlackheart Right on, some people need to leave the country if they think America is so "free"..Hell, I know in mainland China (been 3 or 4 times), Thailand lived there 8 years) , Laos, Cambodia, Indonesia (which is Muslim, and let their clubs stay open later than even thailand!), You can walk down public streets with a beer or whiskey bottle, drinkin away- not even in a paper bag- and the cops don't give a "hoot"..

@truthonmylips or maybe europe heard these 'better bands in the US' and decided that we thought most were actually piss poor and that the Dandys were actually way better? maybe just maybe,europe has WAY better taste than your average american?

If you can't tell that Courtney is pissed about not making it in the US and dissing his home you are mistaken. I speak 4 languages and are well traveled, thank you. I do care what people think about America because this is a great country and when people say stupid things that are undeserving it is irritating. On the other hand there is plenty we do wrong and Americans are very good at accepting criticism. Yo creo que tu necesitas ir a esquela para mejorar tu Ingles - como hablas sin berguensa.

Hey man, how are you? Any way, he's not disrespecting American culture, he's taking it on like any American thats actually been outside of America. I wonder how many other countries you've been to? If you havent you wont know about music from Britain, Europe or even South America because we are'nt so regimented about who or what gets played be it in indie, rock, electro clubs, alot of our clubs you'll get everything. You just SEEM to be petty about what other people think about america.

courtney's great-so arrogant on the outer appearance but still such an exceptional man.
and: he is definitely the base of the dandy warhols,having all the brilliant crazy ideas and this great sense of the musical transition..love love love the Dandy Warhols.
