Regardless of what happened at the end of the war, at least Britain and France went to war for Poland. They could have left it to Germany and Soviet Union to divide up and stayed out of the war. I agree that Poland was sold out, however from a Soviet perspective may they were trying to secure their borders. After all, 20 million dead and after being invaded 3 times in a century (Napoleon, WWI and WWII) they have had enough.

Poland fought almost 5 weeks with 2 agressors:Germany and USRR without any help.

Poland was attacked from 5 sides:Germany,Prussia,USRR,Pru­ssia and czechs Tsin.

Poland had the biggest resistence movement ,Poland provided the fourth allied contingent.

Unfortunately,then in 1944-45 year Red Army came to our country again to kill our the best soldiers from Home Army and civils from Warsaw Uprasing.

Look into the 'Phoney War'. Britain and France didn't do anything while Poland got butchered. Poland's sovereignty / independence was of no consequence to to West. If it was, why was it OK for the USSR to invade the East of Poland, but not for Germany to take the West? WWII was started for other reasons...

pure propaganda! hitler NEVER broke the munich agreement! this agreement said that germany accepts czech borders IF !!! the issues of POLISH and HUNGARIAN minorities are arranged. but this never happened!
