  • Wow, I can't help but wonder where you got this. Supposedly it was supposed to be on a bonus disc on the 2003 re-release. I have the re-release and there's no bonus disc on it. The cast & crew are wrong about a few things. Starkweather wasn't executed for killing Caril Ann Fugate's parents. He was only tried, convicted, & executed for one killing, that of 17 year old Robert Jensen. And he wasn'r a serial killer, he was a spree killer, a big difference.

  • @MrNWA4Life Thanks for your comments and insight. The documentary is from bonus material taken from the 2010 release of Badlands; all on one disc.

  • can you upload the second part? Thank you!

  • @narrowfilm Yes, it's on the way.

  • Wow, the details of this video (such as Martin Sheen's anecdote at the 3:00 mark about when he realized how great a role he had been given) are incredible. Thank you so much for uploading this!

  • Malick is a true Cinematic artist - he deserves to be mentioned in the same breath as Bergman, Antonioni, Bresson, etc. Cant wait to see Tree of Life. I think The Thin Red Line is one of the most underrated films of the past 20 years

  • This is incredible. Thank you so much for posting this

  • @rawkus1167 What about stanley kubrick you asswad dickhole fuckbag. stanley kubrick is a true master.

  • @tharealYonas28 Terrence Malick is the most notorious recluse in cinema. Everyone knows he doesn't do interviews! lol.

  • He.doesn't do them.

  • Is there any information on Malick? I can't find any of his interviews or does Malick not like interviews?

  • I'm surprised that since Martin Sheen paid for Starkweather's grave marker and still visits Lincoln he wouldn't do a bit more research on the Starkweather case. Anyway thanks for posting this, I've been wanting to see it for a long time. I've heard there was archive footage of Charlie & Caril on this, but it's just a few still photos, disappointing. I did manage to get video footage of Starkweather from the Nebraska State Historical Society. Awesome stuff!

  • @squeak63 Hard LOL @ "Tartovsky".

    But yeah, agreed.
