The writers, at nearly every turn, make "Miss Parker" a lame, tunnel-visioned lass that is loyal to "Daddy" to that death and ignores reality for the sake of the centre. She muddles her way through life, chasing Jarod, and she doesn't even know why?

It's a t.v. show, who cares. Besides the center is like a cult sort of like the illuminati. it owns the government. George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, and all the founding fathers were supposed masons who used there secret society to create the Declaration of Independence and later on the Constitution. B.S. or not, that's where the idea comes from. The Center isn't a corporation. It's some hidden-crazy, eugenics, intelligence-creating, cult thing.

I've never gotten how a corporation can hold a man captive in the USA. Jared should have exposed The Center to the government especially with their history of holding kids captive.
