The undefeated six-time world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. faces WBC welterweight champion Victor Ortiz on September 17 at The MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Mayweather (41-0, 25 KOs) last fight was a unanimous decision over Shane Mosley on May 1, 2010, and a dream bout against WBO welterweight champ Manny Pacquiao still could not be worked out.
Ortiz (29-2-2, 22 KOs) has a 6 bout win streak, in his last fight he defeated Andre Berto to claim the WBC crown in a fight many consider the year's best.

@FrankRizzo248 floyds hardest fights have been against southpaws and people who are "relentless" if look at the start of the hatton fight he seems uncomfortably at the start of the fight because hatton wasn't backing down. and what have put i think people could gennreyly find that quite offences basicly saying that if you don't "like" Floyd your a dick and saying your blind in all honest the landgue you have used in just immature and childish.

floyd is a great boxer. It seems like now the only reason floyd and manny aren't fighting is because at first manny said he had no problem taking a lower purse then floyd. Now when floyd recently called manny and said lets do the fight may 5 manny said ok but only on a 50 50 spilt which floyd didnt agree with. Why would manny first say no prob on lower purse, now change it and say 50 50?
