Makes me happy and sad at the same time. When I was a kid I used to stop everything I was doing when this show came on--Cmdr. Koenig/Martin Landau influenced me quite a bit the way he made decisions (good or bad) and stuck with them. Good show, and a fitting tribute to those who have passed on.

@waverly24 Hey waverly24! I too rushed home every saturday afternoon just for space 1999! The thing with the Commander?....did he EVER make bad decisions???? LOL! He always had something going on in his head that we were not privy to it seemed. He was the hero of the show. truly. And I simply loved the John/ Helena story....still do! ha! thanks for watching and commenting...most appreciated!

I remember this when it first started I was 12 years old. We would meet over at my friends house and watch it every Saturday at 4pm. This was back when we only had 13 channels on the boob tube and no computer. We even pooled our legos and built the moon base and a few eagles to fly around the base. What great memories. What a great vidio to add to youtube, it brought back so many good times I had as a youth. Thank you, I had a bad time at work to day. You have put a smile on my face again.

yes they were NOT big stars but they helped up believe in the story that way being told. But a big thanks goes to you. Yes you for taking the time to help us remember them. You took the time to put this video together. Wonderful job. Thank you for taking the time to help us remember that you don't have to be a huge star to tell us a story.
