I've decided to buy a new rckt3 roadster. But last time on my vt1100 I loaded the bike up with Givi luggage, which I realised after a while was cumbersome and screwed up the handling. This time I'll go for a trailer. Now; I know what you're thinking. But look at it; less weight over the rear axle, carry lots more, can detach it at the campsite and ride naked (the bike). Don't have to worry about climbing long steep hills because of the sheer power which the VT doesn't have. Car tyre anyone?
@tjtoral 32-33 mpg religiously when combining city and highway riding. On a dedicated 1800 mile ride with negligible city riding, I averaged about 44mpg, travelling a little north of the speed limits. Fantastic for the long haul!
I've seen one of those today; the owner was a nice bloke and I had a bit of a chat with him about it. He started it up and it made as much noise during idle as a Harley would on the road. Then he throttled it just a little bit and I was lucky enough not to get a heart attack.
Haha this is a goos reviewer
