Rusyn Wedding in Teresva, Ukraine 2010

This footage was captured at a wedding in the village of Teresva (с. Тересва) in Tyachiv Region, Transcarpathia in October 2010. The musicians play several Ruthenian, Hutsul and Romanian melodies while guests dance the Hutsulka (Гуцулка) circle dance and its couple variant.

Violin - Ivan Ivanovych Shimon (Шімон, Іван Іванович)
Bayan (button accordion) - Yosyp Yuriyovych Cherniavets (Чернявець Йосип Юрійович)
Bubyn (drum) - Yuriy Oleksandrovych Cherniavets (Чернявець Юрій Олександрович)

The violinist is from the ethnically Romanian village of Solotvyno/Slatina. The Bayanist and drummer are members of the "Manyo" family band (Родина Маньо) from Tyachiv Ukraine, also known as the "Técsői Banda".
