love this ridiculous comment...
Oh really, you'll stick with two of the very best irish singer/songwriters of all time...... ya eejit.

The very first version of the moore's lyrics said the fifth international brigade, there was no 5th international brigade since the 5th brigade was entirely spanish, later christy moore apologized about that, and recognized he was wrong, in fact he spends the whole song saying "viva la QUINTA brigada" ( quinta is spanish for fifth) so later, he changed the lyrics, there's a couple of inacuracies on the original words, not only that

Seguimos Luchando a Mí la Quinta Brigada☭

Gerry is a class act. Been seeing him since I was a boy. Making those of us who were exiles from the 6 feel at home. Good on ya Gerry!
Adelante!!!

In Christy Moore's original its 15th international brigade, he must have got mixed up or something in the cover.
-
There was no such thing as the 5th International Brigade! The Irish volunteers fought with the 15th International Brigade.
-
Sorry, not bad, but will stick with Christy or Ronnie Drew...
