My guess is that Nintendo released this to see people's reactions to the graphics/controls so they can edit the 3rd game to be better. I think this was just a test. I hope the 3rd comes out soon!

well, i'm going to take your advice and rent it. But I do feel pretty smooth playing the game on a gamecube, I do pretty well in Pikmin 2.
It will probably be like ACCF, i'll overreact to the Wii controls and just end up liking them instead of hating them...

This sucks when the new pikmin comes out (if it does but it Probably will) it'll be on the wii D: I don't have a wii but I may get one :) so I have hope that I'll be able to get the 'Pikmin 3' If and when it comes out :D

It will be released on Wii or DS (most likely Wii) since Nintendo are behind it, but it is definitely coming.

wait, if this video is a preview of the game in english, does that mean the game is already out?
i've known about the remake for months and i heard about it coming in either march or may (don't remember which) and if it's out then i'm really excited!
