Christopher Hitchens gives a great lecture about his book to a Seattle town hall style meeting. A great thanks to The Seattle Channel for making this available for viewing by those who are so inclined.

  • @neuromatiker The "champions of freedom" leave you out to dry when there is no oil on the table.

  • The statement abnout the Danish Cartoons is so right. Where the hell were our backup? where were the champions of free speach? where were our allies that we have bled with in ex-jugoslavia, Afganistan and Irak? (yes I am Danish)

I am sorry to say that you bailed on us when we needed you the most. An not in a situation where we were being selfish or greedy, but in a situation where we were defending on of the free worlds most basic rights.

Come on US. get in the ring, even if it not about oil.

  • @TranceDevotee 7th grade english, mate.

  • was he hearing the questions that day?

  • straw man...

  • Your arguement is an admission that your faith has, is, and will again be as horrible as any secular dictatorship. Quite simply, your faith DOESN'T make people more reasonable and moralistic. It has, does, and will continue to promote unnatural violence--through fear of 'everlasting' damnnation. Take the religious violence of N. Ireland, or Somalia.

  • jemakinc:At it again, eh, dummy? You are so bloody stupid, words cannot describe you. One can only ask where you get your info from?

Maybe you should spend some time getting informed before you make a bigger fool of yourself here.
