There are a few of us! A 90mph 3-wheeler that out accelerated most sports cars of it's day should get more recognition. I wish I still owned LRL 647F!!

Any breakdowns on the way...i rode my 1965 Lambretta to italy some years ago...only one broke cable..looks like a fun journey mate well done

re extra cooling fan,
With every day over 90 deg F it was warm air cooling a very warm engine, needed that little extra to help keep the engine from overheating. Worked very well!
Gumball inspired... just wanted to do something different for a special occasion in my life.

Due to the constant use of the extra cooling fan I fitted on the radiator, we had to push start several times, other than that going we had no other problems. Coming back, had a hole in the break pipe and as we reached England the clutch went and thanks to a fellow Bug owner managed to fix it in Hastings to complete the rest of the journey. I still have my 700SE which I bought in the early 90s. I'll have to get around to restoring it one day as it's in a rather sorry state at the moment. Inspiring video of a great adventure. Thanks for sharing :)

@SimplyPaul Hi Paul you must get your Bug to our 40th Anniversary Bash at Woburn in August, even if it on a trailer.
