Babies wont often sleep through the night on their own but can be taught or encouraged to do so with the use of effective routines. How to contain or wrap your baby to encourage good sleep. Is it OK to put baby in the cot while still awake?

  • @amafloro Hi I know your comment was 8 months ago, but i was wondering if you received any help? I ask this because I'm in the same situation with my daughter. She is 4 months and uses my boobs as a pacifier. I put her to sleep at 8 and she wakes up at 12 and every two hours after. I have to wake up at 4:00am to get ready for work. I eventually put her in the bed with my husband and I and let her use my boob as a pacifier, which means no sleep for me. Any suggestions?

  • There was a lion for this icon, no joke. I wondered how a full grown lion could do to help make a baby sleep. It was almost a letdown to see that there was no lion involved, but you did have some good tips. My baby however doesnt like to be restrained, and she rolls to her side. If shes on any side but her side, then she'll wake up fussy.

  • My baby boy is 7 mons and he still doesn't go to sleep the whole night! I am desperate because I breastfeed and he uses my boob as a pacifier. I put him to sleep most of the times at 8 or 9 but he always wakes up at 11 for about 2 or 3 hrs. I need some sleep because the next day I am not productive at all and sometimes don't want to do nothing but sleep all day ( but I can't because the baby is up) and I also want to spend time playing and stimulating his brain. Any suggestions?
