  • I guess i'm screwed because my problem is only the right hinge is out and when i'm looking at it it looks like the rubber ball piece broke inside so it won't snap back into place. i have the Inspiron E1505. what should i do?

  • @ruddgirl Hello, yes can you send a picture?and I will tell you because maybe is the hinge, or maybe the lcd coverlid. we have make sure if imn case youi need a part I am selling in eb.... good price.and Ican upload a tutorial how you can remplace your part. damage. tanks

  • Thank you for showing that the hinges could be tightened without removing a number of other parts! You made it easy for me to do a repair I had been dreading. One of the screws had fallen out. I saved it and, thanks to you, easily reinstalled it!

  • easy not as you think soo got a lot get out of there f tiny sutff too out and save the thing that you get out of the laptop

  • and then it also looks like the plastic around the hole has eroded away that helps it snap i guess. :( look like i can't do anything about this.

  • Yes looking at this again its the rubber piece that has rotted out inside. how do i get another one of these? it does snap into the screw inside right? so i should not try to fix right now cuz i don't have a new rubber piece?
