Vancouver Translink was purchased the additional 17 New Flyer D40LF in 2001, these buses have the same specification with 2000 version, the majority different is using the Thermo-King heater system instead Sutrak heater system for the previous batches~~

These buses originally powered by Cummins ISC-280 engine, they were retrofitted to Cummins ISL-280 EPA2004 or EPA2007 engine in 2008-2009, transmission is Allison B400R 5-speed with retarder~~

They were used to assigned to Burnaby depot, however they were transferred to PoCo depot in 2009-2010 after the Novabus LFS HEV arrived in Burnaby depot, this clip was taken on # 7442 during on route 143 to Simon Fraser University~~
