Buried deep in my own black pit of sorrow
Tears flooding, Ill be drown by tomorrow
Desperate, I try to hold my breath
Thoughts of you prolong my certain death
Underwater, no one can see that I am crying
Unfortunately, no can also see, inside, I am dying
Will someone roped down a bucket for me
This well is so dark, no light can I see
In agony, I long for a safe embrace
A dryness to come to the tears upon my face
A world of color outside this black and white
A cease to the trials, this relentless, terrifying fight
Bring me home to one I love and need
Make the demons stop so I no longer have to bleed
Powerful!

Metaphors I know so well, yet would not be able to write in this way. I find that admirable.
I believe one has to swim towards the surface in order to see the lights. In order for ropes to be long enough to reach down. Though being pulled downwards by demons makes it hard; it's worth the fight.
