Japanese Tamagotchi Movie Sequel

A sequel to the Tamagotchi movie has recently been announced!

Details are vague, but what we know currently is this: The title is ''Eiga! Tamagotchi Uchū Ichi Happy na Monogatari!?'', and Kikitchi, who will appear on the next Tamagotchi version, plays an important role. Another new character appears, named "Hapihapitchi". The movie premiers in Japan on December 20th, 2008.

The movie seems to be based on the Japanese Tamagotchi arcade games, where Mametchi, ChaMametchi, and Kikitchi explore storybook worlds.

More information should be available July 15th.

The ox tamagotchi isn't called Hapihapitchi.

It's called Nonopotchi.

Look it up in Tama-Zone. Its title page is called "Royal tama character chart".

I've HAD Nonopotchi before.

HappyHappytchi is the character that FLIES, and has the little heart on her head.

Nonopotchi doesn't even appear in this preview!
