@yamahonkawazuki the subaru 2.5 that was in there was ~ 165hp, stock was 95hp, big difference and much better!

@jgizzy This one had front and rear vacuum actuated locking diffs, they were an option on all Syncros, front locker wasn't available to the US though.

Is there a low-range gearset available for these? Do they use a transfer case? Having a hard time finding meaty morsels of information on the Synchro system.

@wysoft It has a granny gear, no transfer case. The were factory all wheel drive with a Viscous coupling to transfer the power from rear to front and allow give in tight corners. Lockers were and option but only the rear locker in North America
