Houston, Texas Police chase crash and arrest unfolds on live tv [HD]

February 16/09:Houston,Texas. The chase began with a domestic disturbance call at a home on Gemini. It led to I-45 at Bay Area Boulevard heading northbound. Near El Dorado Boulevard the suspect rammed into a police cruiser, flipping the vehicle.

The suspect continued to run at high speeds. Just south of the Broadway exit, he rammed into another official vehicle. The officer managed to keep cont More..rol, but the suspect slid across the freeway, slamming into a concrete barrier.

Does anyone know if the suspect pressed charges against the police?

Everyone will agree he deserved it, but that type of police action opens up all of the on-scene officers, as well as the entire department, to investigations, lawsuits, and very bad press. You'd think the police would learn that there's always someone watching during an arrest.

Gotta love that punch the cop gave to him. I'm pretty sure that's what caused the injuries to his face but he deserved it. Who the hell tries to flip a police cruiser? he got lucky they didn't just shoot his ass, which is what they would have done here in Toronto.
