Johny Maestro had a great voice and his having an integrated group in an era of segregation speeks volumns for him. With that said and done, Mike Clifford can really sing and he was better looking and had a better stage presence thna the great Maestro. I understand that Mike Clifford had a decent career on Broadway. I will do some research on that.

Johnny really didn't have any stage presence with very little personality. I met him, he barely wanted to speak to me, it sort of killed it for me because at the time I was HUGE fan of his. Like finally dating the girl of your dreams & end up having the worst date of your life. YES, reserch it, I'm curious. There is a short clip on YT of him doing Close To Cathy, what a teaser, it's about 30 secs. long, danm!
