Airborne!

May, 1992 when I was on Active Duty Army with the 112th Signal Battalion at Ft Bragg, a buddy got a chance to get on a C-130 during one of our jumps and got it on tape. This is what we considered a "Fun Jump" as we only had the chutes. No equipment such as ruck sack or weapon, and we jumped out the back, not the sides. I hope you enjoy it!

Actually I got to this unit in 1989 and this is somewhere around my 60th or so jump, and most of us have been to Panama (Just Cause) and/or Desert Storm....The quality is a bit shoddy, but at :36 you can see our jump master has an SF patch on his right shoulder. But thanks for the post!

I am currently in the 112th and one of their JMs. If you still read your comments, you should get in touch with the bn. We just celebrated the 25th anniv. Had a history video done and all. Great video! I'll try to get some of our casa and blackhawk ones up.

I was C2/504 from 79 to 82 i made one tailgate from a C-130 man it was the best damn jump ever

Tailgate exit from the Herc is a blast.. did it at Bragg in 1965-1967.. but I like the side door out of the C141.. it's smoother. Fuck Yea... 82nd all the way.. Im 67 now but the memory is fresh.. Loved it.
