I just saw a video of a trex 450, and it was like he had a stabilizer on the camera.
He only spent time balanceing the heli from the bottom up.
I think that's where u should invest time.
Post some comments on ur equipment!
Good try!

Have you mounted it via some sort of shock absorber, e.g rubber grommets & foam pads, anything which will reduce the vibration from the heli will help here.

Hi Dazmed9. Other tip that I have tried to reduce vibration is to locate the camera mount directly on the battery pack of the TRex 600 using a strap. The battery pack is very heavy and for this reason is almost free of vibration. I will take into account your suggestion regarding the pinion, thanks. I will tell you.

Hi. RPMs are critical for stable and vibration-free flight. I am running my TRex 600 at 2000 or more RPM. Below 2000 it vibrates and produces camera vibration. You can try some post-flight stabilization softawe, as Virtual Dub, very useful and free. Good flights.

@Flight1142 Thanks. DId you just add a bigger pinion how many teeth are you using?

It is mounted with one soft rubber washer but I found that it is the fine tunning and balancing of the blades that reduces the vibration. I am still working on more ideas. If you have any I would love to know. Thanks

What mount are you using with your 600?

I have made my own custom mount from sheet aluminum its really not an attractive mount but it works. If you want I will send you pics on what it looks like. Have a great day and thanks for the comment.
