  • @piratedad1965 NO, he did not have any tumor. Ever. He did eventually have hip replacement surgery from a hiking accident (it was the delay in having this done that became a focal point for why he and the other split. in fact). His mother was very sick back then and he took time to care for her, and when anyone would see him at a hospital they made up stupid rumors like this when in fact he was only caring for his mother and taking her to doctors.

  • sorry to say but Steve Perry had a tumor or something of that nature from his throat so singing is pretty much out anymore, and believe me that sucks ass i have seen journy 6 times and was SO hoping to get in one more before i die lol

  • Thanks a lot MrMustard, I´m from Guanajuato Mexico and I used to listen to Journey, back in my highscool days!! I´m 51 yrs old now and I was thinking that I would die if I happened to be seating near to one of my idols at a game, man that wuold be awesome, Thanks for posting and thanks again man!! Oh, oh, by the way I loved what you reply at that dumb comment of Castielover about steve getting old ... that was a good one!!!!
