Big Brown was defintately a better horse. Faster Florida Derby by far, faster Kentucky Derby if you account for ground lost and post position, no contest.

the horse who had the best resume was probably curlin of the 3, but i dont think he was the best.

best 3 year olds in past few years:

Big Brown > Smarty Jones > Curlin > Afleet Alex > Barbaro > Bernardini.

Oh ok, I agree with the first 2 but I wasn't a real fan of War Emblem's ability, but to each his own.
