For those of you in the West who are completely unaware of reality's of Cuba because of the Corporate owned media, let me say that Cuban life in societal terms is simply great. Yes you don't hear mobiles so often and internet is slow and expensive. But food is Cheap(roughly 1 convertible peso is about $26 Non Convertible thats enough for a family to live on without luxury. Education,Medical care and housing is free. You won't see anyone sleeping in parks in Cuba like the USA, Australia and others. Cuban Community is just that, a real community. I love the Cubans and if anyone tells you they don't like Fidel in Cuba let me say; if they did not like Fidel he would not have been in power coming on to 5 decades thats empirical evidence. Has any leader or for that matter dictator ever ruled for such a period without the consent of the masses? Answer NO!! Go Figure it out yourself.

  • Cuando me vaya para Cuba, sera para nunca mas salir de ahi!

I can't wait to take care of some issues in order for me to move to Cuba and be part of that society.

The first three on the list are Norway, Japan and Germany, respectively. Brazil is in 88. United States and Canada were not listed. Eat you you American pretending to be Cuban.

    Viva Fidel

  • Cuba remains one of the few countries totally dedicated to gender equality in education.

Cuba is the Latin American country which best meets the goals of access and quality of education established by UNESCO (UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization).

Yes I do claim that and historically& logically that is correct. Fidel could not have stayed in power unless he had Significant support from the people>new stats for you Mr America: In May 2004, the Commission for Assistance to a Free Cuba produced a comprehensive report for dismantling Cubas democracy and superior education system,

  • I don't do drugs and never did. I don't know if you do I really don't care. I never said there's not racism in Cuba. I just was talking about the regular cuban population, they have white friends, black friends, chinese and all kind of friends. I was living in Cuba until 1994 and I had all kind of friends. I don't know if you ever lived in Cuba and, if you did, I don't know what kind of friends you had. It's very irresponsible from someone to say all cuban people is racist.

  • First, I demand respect from you because you don't know me. I don't do drugs, maybe you do and I don't care. If you read well, you could see I never sayd there's not racism in Cuba. I just was talking about cuban population. I was living in Cuba until 1994 and people have white friends, black friends and all kind of friends. I don't know, if you were living in Cuba, what kind of friends you had.

  • Barrio, the elite in Cuba ARE white! You aren't even Cuban, so what business do you have talking about what YOU don't know, just because you happened to work there? Oh pleaaseeeee. Speak what you know because there are many books written about institutionalized racism in Cuba and everywhere else. Cuba is not immune to racism and surveys have been done, sociological studies showing Cubans dont feel that camaraderie you speak of towards people who are dark skinned on the island.
