@Kayenne54 - I spent a lot of years living for the present. Now I have a family. Planning for the foreseeable future is an important aspect of being a good steward of what the Lord has given us. While it is true that we have to take life day-by-day, it is not true to say that "all we have is the present." Everyone alive today is a walking monument to the billions who had more than the present yesterday.

So what I gleaned from this is that Jim Carey is as crazy as a road lizard. "All we have is the present" may be a great college-boy pick-up line but as a life philosophy it is seriously lacking.
