Soccer Saturday - Liverpool V Barnsley FA Cup 90 min goal

It gives me no joy to post this as a Liverpool fan but have to conceed this is a classic Soccer Saturday moment as the panel (All except Phil Thompson) go mad at Barnsley's last minute goal in the FA Cup 5th Round (2008).
Cannot ever remember the panel going so mad over a goal.

Please note: Am posting this as it's a great Soccer Saturday clip, Any abusive comments will be removed and the user blocked... If you have a worthwhile comment to leave then by all means leave one, but if you don't have a brain cell large enough to come up with anything better than 'Liverpool are s**t', etc etc yawn yawn yawn, then move on to another clip and exercise your tiny mind there :o)

PS: Sorry for the poor sound quality, but it's a lot quicker to simply record straight to my camcorder.

For all those slagging off Alonso, you have to remember that was his instant reaction straight after the whistle after a couple of Barnsley players wanted his shirt. A minute or two later he was shown shaking hands with several players and I also read somewhere that ALL the Liverpool players had a drink with the Barnsley players after the game.

i dont remember which teams it was but one team scored 2 goals in 2 mins to level it at 2-2 and they went crazy over that aswell it was on the same day as this

Although they were mainly laughing at Merson rather than going mad at the goal, because he predicted they wouldn't get back into the game.

o god i remember this game. i was gutted to see that we lost, but i must say, this is the beauty of the fa cup and carling cup, to see the lower leagues come up against the big teams and give us a go.

congrats to barnsley, they fully deserve it. i must admit i was going mad at full time, but without the smile that phil thompson is forcing...

I think it's more to do with winding Phil Thompson up as he's so biased toeards Liverpool.
