Hang gliding at Henson's Gap, TN

Video from a nose-mounted camera on a tandem hang glider. This is a foot launch off a ramp from the bluff at Henson's Gap (Dunlap, TN) on June 1, 2010, and a full flight from launch to landing in a field a mile or so away. No thermals to speak of that day, so this is just a nice glide down the mountain and a thrilling landing in a field.

This is from my second flight that day--and I'd never been hang gliding before. (I was so nervous the first flight that I forgot to push the "record" button on my camera! D'oh!) I literally got done with the first flight and then went right back up the mountain for a second one.

Yes, it's that much fun!!!

He'll make leaping off a cliff easy(ish)! You'll be the passenger/student and he'll be the pilot/instructor right there with you the whole time keeping you safe. If you want, he'll even let you fly a bit--which is remarkably easy.

I live near this launch ramp and will be flying here myself w/ my own glider...you had to have flown w/ Clark H.....sounds like him!!....great guy!!! ...hck
