It will also make clearances much simpler, routes shorter, and delays in climbs and descents much lower. When this integrates into VNAV it could either be very good or very bad depending on conflict resolution ability.

How did you see all the other aircraft around you if they weren't ADS-B equipped? There are no tangible general aviation benefits, that's just wrong.
