The Halluc II is an 8 legged, multi-jointed robotic concept car.

The newly developed Halluc II features a cutting-edge multi-motor system and is equipped with a total of 56 of the highest class motors for the locomotive movement of the robot with wheels and legs.

The robot can morph into one of three modes including Vehicle, Insect, and Animal mode.

By changing its mode and switching between driving on its wheels and walking with its legs, Halluc II achieves a high level of mobility not seen with conventional robots. The robot is equipped with a total of 13 distance sensors including laterally facing sensors on the sides and downward facing sensors under the body, 2 laser measurement sensors for detecting obstacles 360 degrees around the robot, and 3 axis attitude sensors that detect the attitude of the robot body.
