In October of 2000, me and my family flew south of the Equator to Rarotonga in the Cook Islands. Truly a magical place, and it was a privilege to visit.
The island is roughly 36 miles in circumference and is surrounded by a barrier reef. The protection from predators makes it a haven for some incredible underwater life. The native people I met there (Maori) were some of the kindest I'll ever meet.
I found all of my Photo CDs today, and wanted to share the images with all of you. Enjoy the trip.

Thanks. Yes, Kevin Spacey does the song justice and really respects the man. Kevin's a wonderful actor.

My congratulations then, Rophiny. I truly enjoyed my time on your island.....a beautiful place with beautiful people. I look forward to returning there soon.

I hope you enjoy it! (: but don't say it's my island. because they've died now. and I don't think it's "my" island, i think it's the "peoples" island.

Very beautiful video, really like tropical places :) It's too cold here in chicago..

I'm glad that you enjoyed it. I hope that the weather in Chicago lightens up a bit. It's been brutal in the north this year.
