  • we get frustrated easily

    we hate groups

    have ensamniea

    spelling problems

    my teachers always hate me

and sometimes i fell like my parents would be better off if i was dead

  • @OzZyFaN007 Hey- I'm sure your parents are very happy you are alive. I'm happy you watched my video & made a comment. You really aren't alone in your problems (believe it or not)... I know people with and without autism who have similar challenges. Hang in there. ok?

  • Thank you for this video.

I'm speechless but its very enlightening from a first person point of view. I understand more. I don't know who this person is, or if they will read this, but thank you.

  • Thanks. I produced the video. The emails were written by someone with autism. I don't know if they read these comments. But, thanks for writing.

  • This is so wrong! I am autistic! I have a family, friends, and a boyfriend!

  • You are lucky. But, I think it's unfair to tell someone their life is "wrong" because it's different than yours.

  • I am 23 and have autism. When I was a child, I wasnt allowed to go onto the swimming pool with the other kids because the teachers said that the water would hurt my ears. I knew it was a lie, the only reason that my ears hurt at the time because children discriminate by yelling in my ears as a child. I was forced to sit while facing the wall while the other children were having thier fun and laughter. It tore my soul apart limb from limb. It was painful.

  • I am so touched by this video, it really went deep into my soul. I was diagnosed in the Autism spectrum, and I hated the label. But after seeing videos like this, I can relate to others and feel that I was not alone through the sufferings in my childhood. I'd like to meet an Autistic child one day. I know I'd understand them better than most would.

  • @autumnmoonwv27 How is your son doing so far? Mine is 4 and can't speak sentences only little words. Do you feed him everthing? I heard that milk and cheese makes them worse. What do you suggest?

  • Ya know I like this video and all.. my son has autism, but I will be damned if I let it take over his life! I am going to be with him every step of the way, and he will have all these things that this person did not!

  • Thank you! You've help so many understand. You get a gold star from me.

  • I am 23, and my first memories I have of myself is when I was stimming, I considered it the best time of my day. I need a time of the day to flap, rock, run or spine self, it keeps me always from fast thoughts. I do not have physical meltdowns anymore, I usually get confused thoughts that stress me. I believe that if I jump an dflap I prevent myself from doing stuff I do not want to do, it keeps my mind running normally and I love it. In my language it means I am happy.

  • thank you for this video i have a 6 year old son with autism and i am and will try my hardest so he will never feel like you did you are a brave person and have a great purpose in life thank you.

  • This is a very enlightening video which describes the way autistic individuals feel! I can relate especially after day getting my confirmed diagnosis of Asperger's Syndrome.

  • I was teary eyed through this whole video. My nephew has autism. I love him like he is my own son. I hope a can be a positive male rolemodel for him

  • thank you for this video .and i will make sure to show both of my kids that they are loved and i am so proud of them. honestly, you have given me hope.

  • I'm about to start work with an 8 year old autistic boy (described as severely autistic) and has epilepsy (eye flutters etc). He is there, I know he is and I've only met him once. He speaks in the picture cards quite well, can do lego and even has a few words. He is violent at school and can't be included due to the risk he poses to other children. I hope I can help him. Thanks for such a powerful clip - makes me see things óutside the box' if you know what I mean :)
