Also, a user want to know basic things about Linux partitions. How can create his own user partition, format it and store files in it. Like a DOS extended partition or a Windows NTFS partition. I would like that the course will include all the above, because all these are the critical things which a user wants to learn.

I will follow the course and I hope that it will cover me. A user wants to know some basic things in order to use the OS. These are: Creating, deleting and moving files and folders. Types of files (executables, documents, zips etc). File system and formatting media (USB stickers, CDs, HDs, diskettes). Installing and removing applications. System folders, where are they and where a user can store its own files away from system folders and files. Drivers, plug n play. Basic networking.
