  • To understand this song you have to understand Mormon christianity. Mormons celebrate Christ, his life, his death, and his resurreciton through the joy they feel in their souls and by viewing His incredible works of creation. All good works of creation symbolize Christ. Our father, the God of love, has no end or beginning. Likewise, His creations have no beginning or end. Neither does love, service, goodness, honor, virtue, honesty, morality, families -- all are apart of God's eternal glory.

  • As a non-Mormon, I must say I like this song a lot. Its themes are universal and transcend sectarian concerns. I think people of all faiths can be inspired by this song. One thing I like about Mormonism compared to Orthodox Christianity is the idea of continuing revelation. If only all faiths had that component.

  • Kolob?? Really?

    When is the mothership coming?

    177,000 are waiting...

  • @melvinbrand I agree it says that God is the same always, and so why would'nt revelation be the same :) I love the gospel

  • What's wrong with Mormon lyrics?

There is no end to glory

There is no end to love

There is no end to being

    There is no death above

The Mormon belief in Christ's absolute conquer over death and how it applies in the eternities to families has to be one of the most beautiful theological teachings of any religion anywhere. That and (of course) the Mormon belief that all men, women, and children everywhere are literal children of diety and have truly divine potential within them. Beautiful.

  • This is my favorite hymn. Rock + favorite hymn = very good.

  • What about the Urknall Theory? I believe that id there IS a Kolob, it is not made of matter as we know it, but it's part of dark matter and dark energy.

  • oh my this is my all time favorite hymn!! i love it ive always wished someone would do this to the hymns it totaly makes you want to listen to them more!! i love it!!

  • Kolob is the star that is closest to where god resides. This is known by revelation from the prophet Abraham, recorded in the pearl or great price. To those who don't know what that is, it's another scripture besides the bible just like the Book of Mormon that is another testament of Jesus Christ. :) Amazing books, they support are lifes.

  • in the book of revalation... 6days means a day is a 1000 years in gods time

  • not that this has any immediate relevance, but I just thought I'd share. but I think there is a way that the Big Bang Theory could actually prove existence for Christianity (or in the least, LDS). not that the Big Bang Theory actually discredits any form of any creation theory at all (technically speaking, the '6 days' are not Earth-based days, since it wasn't created then. so we honestly have no idea how long these days lasted). and Charles Darwin was Christian, so it's the same with evolution.
