Demi Lovato - Talking About Rehab and Singing Skyscraper LIVE in Chicago

"I wanted to really share something with you guys. A year ago I was in a treatment facility here in Chicago, and I spent my Thanksgiving, my Christmas, and my new years and I thought it was the hardest time of my life. And it was the most difficult thing that I had to go through. And I'm looking in the audience tonight and I'm seeing faces of girls that I went to the treatment center with and it means so much to me to see those girls out here in the audience with me today. I love you (points to someone in crowd). And what got me through that hard time was not you know my career or anything like that, it was the notes that were posted on my wall from you guys that said 'you can make it through it' and 'you'll be okay'. And I've met so many of you guys that said you felt me make it through my own struggles and because of you I've gotten help and it just means so much to me. (Not sure what she says here, you guys something). So it's just really sentimental like being back in Chicago and you know it's one of the first few times I've been back here and um I'm just thankful that I have you guys to support me and help me stay strong and it really means so much to me. And shout out to my TK girls."

I wasn't going to post this video because my friends and I are singing along and we sound so obnoxious but I decided to post it for Demi. I'm so proud of her and everything she's overcome. I know we suck so sorry :/ LOVE YOU DEMI(:

please be quite I don't hear her! that's what I hate about that they're screaming sooo much!! I don't understand a word of what she's saying . I do love her and she such an amazing singer and she is a ROLEMODEL!! She let us see that there's always a way out also when your so down and everything went wrong and been through so much! We (I think I can say we) are so proud of her!! xx

I'm a Lovatic myself, so I'm all for the screaming for Demi. I know it's hard to resist. However, YOU NEED TO LET HER SPEAK, MY FRIENDS. Otherwise, you're not doing Demi justice. Because if you love her, you love ALL of her, including every word she speaks. But how can you love what she's saying if you're not listening?
