Note: Intel macs use the same shortcuts as PC's.

In the case of CTRL + H - it is a necessity, since CMD+H hides the window and doesn't bring up the chat history!

One cool trick I learned is that if you create a large flat prim with transparent textures, you can stick it right on or underneath water level for the effect of ice.
