Freedom of speech is one of our civil rights in the constitution, but with all this political correctness all over the place everyone is afraid to speak for themselves or what they truly believe in. I would hate to live in a world where everyone talks exactly the same like mindless robots, but that's where this world is headed. Miss California is far from stupid. She's a very bright young lady and I think its really a shame that all this has cost her the crown. You are ignorant and stupid though

Your very opinionated but very wrong. I myself am gay and I don't hate her for what she said. I thought it was a very honest answer. She doesn't hate gay people she just doesn't agree with gay marriage. I'd like to see a day when gay marrage totally acceptable in every state and country, but I also understand that not everyone is gonna agree with it and thats fine. I think people shouldn't have to be afraid to speak for what they believe in.

ur an idiot for many reasons. 1)she only got that spotlight bcuz perez wuz bein an ass askin a christian that question. 2)she answered the question truthfully and nicely but with 1 mistake. she said her country instead of her religion/family. 3)she is not a dumb blonde. if u were smart u would know that miss usa pageants are for smart, beautiful, and successful women w/ lives... ur life will never be as good as hers. she went nude, so wut? lots of models do.
